Anfang der 60er Jahre wurde die “Villa Federico” von  Engländern erbaut.

Seit 1973 ist es im Besitz der Familie Elhaus.

Ursprünglich als Feriendomizil erworben, wurde es in den letzten 30 Jahren zum Hauptwohnsitz unserer Eltern. Mit dieser Entscheidung haben sie den Grundstein gelegt, dass unsere Familie in zwei Ländern beheimatet ist. Für uns Kinder und Enkelkinder wurde dieser Ort zum Treffpunkt unserer Großfamilie. Deshalb sind wir mit diesem Ort im Herzen besonders stark verbunden.

Im Jahr 2019 haben wir das Anwesen als Schwestern gemeinsam übernommen. Heike lebt “Verliebt, verlobt, verheiratet” seit Anfang der 80er Jahre in Capoliveri. Ihre große Familie mit Kindern, Enkeln und Tieren wohnt unweit der Villa Federico. Kathrin ist der deutsche Part des Schwesternduos. Verwurzelt auf Elba, lebt und arbeitet sie in Süddeutschland. Seitdem ihre Kinder erwachsen sind, verbringt sie mehr und mehr Zeit auf der Insel. 

Um diesen Besitz zu erhalten, haben wir uns dazu entschieden, Teile des Hauses  und die in unmittelbarer Strandnähe gelegene Wohnung als Feriendomizil zu vermieten. Insgesamt stehen drei eigenständige Ferienwohnungen zur Verfügung. Damit möchten wir Familien, Paaren und Freundesgruppen die Möglichkeit bieten, sich von diesem besonderen Ort verzaubern zu lassen und die Energiespeicher wieder aufzuladen.

Die Villa Federico ist umgeben von einem großen Grundstück mit Weinfeldern, Oliven- und Zitrushainen, Waldgebieten und jeder Menge Macchiaduft. Sie erstreckt sich rechts, oberhalb der Straße, die nach Calanova führt.

Aufs Meer schauend  richtet sich der Blick linkerhand auf die belebte Bucht von Straccoligno. Dort findet man einen Sandstrand mit Bar und Restaurant. Rechterhand erstreckt sich die verwunschene Bucht von Ferrato. Im Anschluss an diese Bucht beginnt der Nationalpark des toskanischen Archipels, welcher mit reicher Flora und Fauna sowie Wander- und Fahrradwegen beeindruckt.

Nei primi anni ’60 la „Villa Federico“ fu costruita da inglesi.

Dal 1973 è di proprietà della famiglia Elhaus.

Originariamente acquistata come casa per le vacanze, negli ultimi 30 anni è diventata la residenza principale dei nostri genitori. Con questa decisione, hanno gettato le basi per la residenza della nostra famiglia in due diversi paesi. Per noi figli e nipoti, questo posto è diventato il luogo d’incontro della nostra famiglia allargata. Pertanto, abbiamo un legame speciale con Ferrato e Villa Federico nei nostri cuori.

Nel 2019, abbiamo preso in mano la proprietà insieme, noi due sorelle. Heike vive „Innamorata, fidanzata, sposata“ a Capoliveri dall’inizio degli anni ’80. La sua numerosa famiglia con figli, nipoti e animali vive non lontano da Villa Federico. Kathrin è la parte tedesca della coppia di sorelle. Ha radici all’Elba,ma  vive e lavora nel sud della Germania. Da quando i suoi figli sono cresciuti, passa sempre più tempo sull’isola.

Al fine di preservare questa proprietà, abbiamo deciso di affittare parti della casa, e l’appartamento situato vicino alla spiaggia, come casa per le vacanze. In totale sono disponibili tre appartamenti per vacanze indipendenti. Vogliamo offrire alle famiglie, alle coppie e ai gruppi di amici la possibilità di lasciarsi incantare da questo luogo speciale e di ricaricare le batterie.

Villa Federico è circondata da un’ampia proprietà con vigneti, uliveti e agrumeti, aree boschive e un’abbondante macchia mediterranea. Si estende a destra, sopra la strada che porta a Calanova.

Guardando il mare, la vista a sinistra dà sulla vivace baia di Straccoligno, una spiaggia di sabbia con bar e ristorante. A destra c’è l’incantevole baia  di Ferrato. Il Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago Toscano, con la sua ricca flora e fauna, i sentieri per escursioni a piedi e in bicicletta, confina direttamente con questa baia.

In the early 60s, the „Villa Federico“ was built by Englishmen.

It has been owned by the Elhaus family since 1973.

Originally purchased as a holiday home, it has become the main residence of our parents over the last 30 years. With this decision, they laid the foundation for our family to be at home in two countries. For us children and grandchildren, this place became the meeting place of our extended family. That is why we have a particularly strong connection with this place in our hearts.

In 2019, we took over the property together as sisters. Heike has lived „In love, engaged, married“ in Capoliveri since the early 80s. Her large family with children, grandchildren and animals lives not far from Villa Federico. Kathrin is the German part of the sister duo. Rooted on Elba, she lives and works in southern Germany. Since her children have grown up, she spends more and more time on the island.

In order to preserve this property, we have decided to rent out parts of the house and the flat located close to the beach as a holiday home. A total of three independent holiday flats are available. In this way, we would like to offer families, couples and groups of friends the opportunity to be enchanted by this special place and to recharge their energy stores.

Villa Federico is surrounded by a large property with vineyards, olive and citrus groves, wooded areas and plenty of macchia scent. It extends to the right, above the road that leads to Calanova.

Looking out to sea, the view to the left is of the lively bay of Straccoligno. There is a sandy beach with a bar and restaurant. To the right is the enchanted bay of Ferrato. The National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, with its rich flora and fauna as well as hiking and cycling trails, begins at the end of this bay.
